Hollywood, CA, July 27, 2007- IFA DOT COM announced today that it will be conducting a nationwide talent search to find the CO-HOST for the much anticipated TOTAL POP STAR series! Created by Universal Music Composer/Producer Andrew Van Slee, TOTAL POP STAR combines the best that American Idol has to offer with a worldwide, internet-based scope that is sure to unearth the world's next singing sensation. Set to launch at the end of August 2007, the show will be hosted by Van Slee's business partner and TOTAL POP STAR co-producer Richard Wagner. To compliment Wagner, IFA DOT COM is looking for an attractive female co-host who has personality, wit and charm to spare!

The Co-Host audition process will kick off in Los Angeles on August 3^rd with an open call at the IFA production offices. Van Slee and Wagner will then make the trek to three major US cities - the duo will arrive in Dallas on August 10th, continue on to Chicago on August 11th and reach Atlanta on August 12th. After that, IFA DOT COM will make stops in Seattle, Vancouver, Oregon and Arizona at as yet to be determined later dates.

Van Slee believes that by doing a nationwide search he will generate the buzz IFA DOT COM is looking for - "Our first open call will be here in Los Angeles and we ran a small ad on craigslist letting people know about the auditions. We've had over 300 applicants thus far and we've got about 200 singers who signed up to compete in the show beyond that. I figure we'll have four to five hundred people show up for the audition and when the dust settles, we could end up with 3-5,000 contestants for the show."
